Bloodstone Rally 2019
Bloodstone are proud to host our rally on the occasion of our tenth anniversary on the Isle of Wight from Friday the 21st to Sunday the 23rd of June 2019.
Weekend tickets for non-performers are £5, available from the gate or in advance by contacting us.

When and Where
Friday, 21st June 2019
- Teams arrive throughout the afternoon and are welcomed with tea and cakes in the 'hostility tent'.
- 20:00 Enjoy The Crew play a confluence of Folk, Sea Songs, Shanties, even some rock n roll in the Smallbrook bar. Arrr!
Saturday, 22nd June
- 09:45 Buses leave Smallbrook stadium 9:45am prompt on a scenic drive to the Island Steam Railway's Wootton Station.
- 10:18 Train departs from Wootton Station in a cloud of steam and soot.
- 10:30 Arrive at Havensteet Station Yard in the midst of their Steampunk Event. All teams have one dance each before going off to explore the site and going on our allocated dance spots.
- 12:00 Dancing...
outside Number 4: Mythago, Wolfshead and Vixen, Bloodstone, Borderline, Guith.
outside The Bar: Hook Eagle, Screeming Banshees, Aelfgythe, Moonshine, Tatters and Tails.
- 12:45 Lunch for Morris teams. No doubt a music session will start in the Bar tent, and lunch may be washed down with 'Bloodstone 10' Ruby Red Ale.
- 14:00 Dancing...
in the Station Yard: Tatters and Tails, Wolfshead and Vixen, Aelfgythe.
outside The Bar: Mythago, Guith, Borderline.
outside Number 4: Hook Eagle, Moonshine, Screeming Banshees, Bloodstone.
- 14:45 Morris teams explore the site, optionally dancing on the tiny woodland stage.
- 15:57 Train departs eastwards from Havenstreet, an optional ride to and from Smallbrook Interchange (nb, there is no way off the platforms there, even though it's close to the stadium!!)
- 16:30 The remainder of our morris crowd will join the train when it returns to Havenstreet for the ride back to Wootton.
- 16:45ish Buses leave Wootton station, bound for Smallbrook stadium.
- 17:00ish Teams gather at Smallbrook Bloodstone Henge to entertain each other with one dance each.
- 20:30 Listen to The Chain Ferry Gang Skiffle inspired folk songs in the Smallbrook bar, together with the raffle draw that makes all this possible!
Sunday, 23rd June
- 11am ish A minibus will be shuttling those that need it.
- 12 noon onwards Ryde We will be dancing in rotation in three dance spots...

- 3pmish Finally a Massed Dance near the Pavillion.
- 3:30pmish Minibus available to ferry those that need it back to Smallbrook. It will be nearly high tide, so a good time for a paddle!
- Teams are welcome to stay Sunday evening, the marquee will still be up. Bloodstone will hog one end of the Marquee for our “wind down” meal!
Of course all these timings are based on the famous "Morris Time" and may change at any given moment.
Just make sure that on Saturday your team all get on the buses!

Getting Around Smallbrook Stadium
Please note that the stadium will not be open to the public, only those with rally wristbands.
Campsite Rules
(Not too many as we want you to have fun!)
- No personal alcohol allowed in the bar or on the balcony; Real Ale will be available in the bar. (Your own drink elsewhere around the campsite is fine.)
- Please take your litter away with you.
- No fires or barbecues.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead and please ensure that you clear up after them.
- 5 mph speed limit on site. No racing around the track!
- No noise before 9am; our squire likes his sleep, bless 'im.
- Bugger off by 12 noon on Monday.
Food and Shopping in the Ryde area
Excellent cooked breakfasts are made to order in the Smallbrook stadium bar on Saturday & Sunday morning. Please note there will be no burger van this year for other times of the day.
